Christopher B. Troutman has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience, the majority of which was spent working for Wachovia Securities and its predecessors, which had one of the largest real estate investment banking platforms in the United States during such period. Prior to co-founding Tannery Brook Partners, LLC, Mr. Troutman served as a Managing Director for Wachovia Securities’ Real Estate Capital Markets platform, where, from 2005 through 2009, he was responsible for principal investments in highly structured debt and equity investments in the East Coast region. In this role, Mr. Troutman was responsible for building and overseeing an approximately $5 Billion debt and equity portfolio in committed exposure, of which, roughly $4.5 Billion consisted of various senior and subordinate debt positions and $500 Million was invested in preferred and joint venture equity assets. Prior to working in the Structured Finance Group, from 1994 through 2004, Mr. Troutman held various positions within Wachovia Securities’ Real Estate Capital Markets platform, including serving as a Managing Director in the CMBS Group.

Prior to joining Wachovia Securities, Mr. Troutman was with Fleet Real Estate Funding Corp. Mr. Troutman received a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from the University of South Carolina.
